Once there was a comb jelly who dreamed of making it to land. The ocean teased her, drifting her close enough on the waves to see the strange shore, the vibrant trees, the soft beaches, then using the tide to pull her back away from it again. The push and pull kept her ever on edge, ever more curious. 

One night she was glowing brightly with her siblings when gentle hands scooped her from the water.

The child’s eyes grew in wonder as they beheld the comb jelly. She shimmered brilliantly, an electric blue bioluminescing in their palms; the bridge between nature and true magic. They brought her to the shore to show their parents. 

This was it - this was her chance to see the world.
